5 things to know before visiting our winery

If you gave us an experience last week with our Gift Cards (we still have some available here), we thought we’d give you a little vademecum with the most important things to know about us. In this way, the people who receive your gift will already have a small taste of it.

1. T dot, E dot, S dot… How come the company name is dotted?

Tessari is a very common surname in the Monteforte d’Alpone area, and there are other wineries whose owners are Tessari. We have made this graphic choice to distinguish ourselves from other wineries and to be recognisable as “those with the dots” #withdots

2. Where are your vineyards?

The nearest vineyard, the one we usually visit during the tours, is located behind the winery, on the slopes of the Magnavacche hill. All our vineyards are located in the high hills: Magnavacche, Costalte and Castellaro and are all organically cultivated.

3. Why only pure wines?

We have only ever worked with the indigenous Garganega grape, the highest expression of our hills and Soave Classico. It is the grape that we know best and work best.

4. What is Corte Grisela?

Corte Grisela is the new expression of our hospitality: we have created 3 rooms with bed and breakfast in our family’s historic courtyard. A way of providing an even more complete experience for visitors to our region.

5. Is it possible to visit the winery?

We are available from Monday to Friday and at weekends with prior notice. The tour always includes a visit to the vineyard, the winery and the appassimento, followed by a tasting of our five organic wines paired with local food.
