Description

Label

The roots, which symbolize family, origin and nourishment. Natus is a “new born” into the extended Garganega family. A textured label which reflects the character on the wines thickness, created by the long permanence of the forty months on its fine lees.

Vinification

Pure Garganega, Natus is a Soave Doc Spumante Metodo Classico.

The grapes, that have been hand-picked are gently placed into crates to be de stemmed and transformed into must through soft press. Natus is then fermented at a controlled temperature between 16°-18° in steel tanks for a period of 12 to 18 months in contact with its fine lees. During the second fermentation in the bottle, the wine continues its maturation process for another 40 months to reach its full maturation.

Tasting Notes

Natus has a heightened aroma of Millefiori honey, with balsamic and smoked notes. The 40 months rest on its lees, creates a fine and persistent perlage that showcases the minerality of its terroir, and at the same time provides an elegant but delicate character to this marvelous Soave Doc Metodo Classico.

Pairings

A tavola! Natus, a great aperitif for lovers of bubbles with character, it expresses itself best paired with crustaceans and battered vegetables.
