On Saturday, July 23, we hosted an Instameet with the theme #igerswithdots among our vineyards and in our winery.

First of all: What is an Instameet? It’s a gathering of Instagram users—the app that’s also a social media platform where you can take and share photos and videos. People come together to connect, explore, and share their creativity.

We reached out to Lara and Michele, who run @igers.verona, the official community for the province of Verona, and suggested that we collaborate on organizing an event centered on our Soave Classico vineyards and the wines produced there.

The event began with a welcome at the winery, where participants had the opportunity to meet the Tessari family and learn about their history, before setting off for the hill of Castellaro, stopping along the way at the Brognoligo cave.

Once we arrived in Castellaro, given how tiring the hike up the hill had been, we suggested an aperitif in the vineyard with Garganega Brut and artisanal focaccia. From here, we enjoyed the breathtaking view offered by our vineyards and the rolling hills of the Brognoligo area. The photos that were taken truly show just how important it is to highlight the little-known wonders of our region—wonders that we sometimes take for granted.

The day then continued at the winery with a guided tour of the crushing, winemaking, and drying areas, concluding with a tasting of Grisela Soave Classico, Bine Longhe Soave Classico, and Tre Colli Recioto di Soave, paired with Monteveronese cheese and caciotta di malga, local sopressa, and Reciotina dessert.
