Grisela and Bine Longhe: A Tasting with Vino à Porter

Monday evenings can be really enjoyable, especially if you join friends and the Vino A Porter team for a blind tasting of several wines, evaluating them and trying to identify their #character.
Seven wines and 20 different palates took center stage during a fun evening at the Baker Streetphotography studio on Via Massena, which hosted us for the event. We would also like to thank Silvio de Rossi of Stylology for the photos.

Three wines particularly impressed us: the first was an unexpected and welcome surprise that amazed us with its incredibly fine bubbles. Sometimes we like to try non-Italian wines, and our French friend Alizee, who was at the tasting, knows this all too well! Frerejean Frères Champagne is a product we hadn’t tried before, and it’s definitely worth recommending.
A #brilliant wine characterized by an intense aroma of baked apple and cinnamon, thanks to the inclusion of 20% Pinot Meunier grapes.

We then tasted the Soave Grisela from the T.E.S.S.A.R.I Winery, a member company of the Italian Federation of Independent Winemakers which we already know well (try their excellent classic Soave DOC Garganega Bine Longhe in our Wine Box #intense – Highly recommended!). Grisela is a more approachable and easy-drinking wine than Bine Longhe, which we found pleasant—ideal for a #scacciapensieri aperitif.
