Soave Versus 2015

From September 5 to 7, the Consortium’s event—dedicated to the finest expressions of Soave, the region’s style, and its values—returns to the Palazzo della Grand Guardia in Verona. Over 40 selected wineries with more than 200 fine wines, culinary artisans, renowned chefs, media personalities, and artists will take center stage at this sold-out event. Soave Versus features an original and successful format, where wine serves as the ideal gateway to the most innovative realms of knowledge and craftsmanship. Wine, in fact, is a synthesis of history and innovation, past and future, beauty and a love of life—all encapsulated in that “typically Italian craftsmanship” for a production sector that is now worth over 14 billion euros nationwide. Soave Versus therefore aims to showcase all aspects of Veronese production—and beyond—highlighting not only wine but also the rich artisanal and cultural heritage of the province of Verona. All of this will unfold in a setting of class and exclusivity, involving restaurateurs and sommeliers in an intriguing exchange of ideas, accompaniedby Fede&Tinto from the Rai Radio2 program “Decanter .” Joining them will be renowned chefs who will explore the interplay between tradition and innovation in a series of dynamic and engaging cooking shows. Glamour, style, distinctiveness, and the storytelling of wine will be just a few of the key themes around which in-depth discussions, forums, and educational workshops —featuring direct guest participation—will revolve.
